After last year’s In Pursuit Of Soul documentary, which told the stories of ski resorts that are on the Indy Pass, Teton Gravity Research has made a sequel to the awesome short film. Called In Pursuit of Soul 2: Midwest Independence, the documentary covers the stories of Midwest ski areas, and what makes the region so special. Filming locations included Buck Hill, Caberfae Peaks, Granite Peak, Little Switzerland, Lutsen Mountains, Nordic Mountain, The Rock Snowpark, and Tyrol Basin. The film will premiere at Buck Hill on October 22 and 7 p.m. CT and become available for free to the general public on October 25th.

The official film synopsis and trailer from Teton Gravity Research are below.

“Those who ride the Midwest will tell you – they don’t need endless storm cycles, 4,000 feet of vert or fancy base areas to have fun. A few rope tows and rails, a set of slalom gates to bash, reliable snowmaking and a sense of adventure is all it takes. Teton Gravity Research and Indy Pass present: In Pursuit of Soul 2: Midwest Independence. Full film available for free on October 25, 2022.

In Pursuit of Soul 2: Midwest Independence was filmed on location at Buck Hill, Caberfae Peaks, Granite Peak, Little Switzerland, Lutsen Mountains, Nordic Mountain, The Rock Snowpark, and Tyrol Basin.”
