Dropping this little waterfall might seem mellow but things got serious real quick after an inexperienced kayaker failed to push off properly to clear the landing and got pinned nose down in the rushing torrents. Things got hectic for a minute but thankfully his guide kept his head and was able to free the trapped paddler. This really brings the dangers of seemingly innocuous river features into sharp relief. Be safe out there folks.
