Mountain Capital Partners Announces Partnership With Willamette Pass

By

Mountain Capital Partners is a sleeping giant in the Southwest ski industry. Some of their ski resorts include the Arizona Snowbowl, Brian Head Resort in Utah, Nordic Valley in Utah, and Purgatory Ski Resort in Colorado. On Tuesday, they added an Oregon ski resort to their network.

Mountain Capital Partners and Willamette Pass Resort announced that they will be operating as a joint venture. This means that Willamette Pass will be joining the MCP season pass that features access to all the resorts they own and operate, which is known as the Power Pass.

Willamette Pass already has some quality parts to its mountain. A high-speed six-pack chairlift services the summit, the first-ever snowmaking system in the Pacific Northwest was installed there, and their RTS trail is one of the steepest in the state of Oregon. Willamette Pass also plans to expand in the future, which has been a part of MCP’s resume. Expansion projects have been done by them at Nordic Valley, with future additions being planned at the Arizona Snowbowl, Brian Head, and Purgatory Resort.
