Swiss ski resort Zermatt Matterhorn took to social media, as many did across the globe, to honor the passing of Queen Elizabeth II.

The resort shared a beautiful photo of the iconic Matterhorn lit up with a projection of the British flag.

Their caption read: Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II has passed away today. She reigned for 70 years ascending to the throne in 1952 and was 96 when she passed. RIP #QueenElizabeth, 📸 Gabriel Perren”
