A tourist to Yellowstone National Park ignored all warnings, signs, and common sense when she walked off the boardwalk to get a closer look at Old Faithful.
Besides the fact that it’s extremely dangerous considering the scalding hot water (>200F) and steam that is ejected from Old Faithful, she could have damaged the fragile terrain.
Thankfully, a Yellowstone Park Ranger caught her in the act, gave her a good scolding, and was seen walking her away from the area. Here’s hoping that he wrote her a hefty fine for her arrogance.
