If you’ve ever been to an Ironman competition you know it’s no joke.
I’ve watched competitors sprint full speed across the finish line and then immediately collapse into the arms of a volunteer. The competitors leave it all out on the course.
The video below shows a competitor get a major leg cramp right as he’s about to pop the big question to his girlfriend, and I thought it was absolutely hilarious. I’m sure it’s a moment they’ll never forget.
Let’s just hope he got those cramps sorted out before the rest of the evening festivities… if you know what I mean…
