June was super tough month for Yellowstone National Park as historic floods swept through the park, forcing a nearly 2 week closure resulting in 43% dip in visitation. BuckRail.com reports on June 22nd the east, west and south entrances reopened with a limited access plan. Portions of Yellowstone remained closed through the end of June, including the North and Northeast entrances.

Yellowstone publishes park statistics on NPS.gov which show the park had 557,22 visitors last month, down 43%+ from the 938,845 recreation visits in June 2021 (the most in the history of the month). While the park suffered significant damage to its infrastructure and limiting guests while they make repairs was required, I fully expect these numbers to rebound strong as one of our national treasures gets back on its feet.
