The guy filming is a bird watcher in Eugene, OR who spends his free time observing crows and ravens around the city.
He traverses the city on his electric-powered scooter and films his birdwatching endeavors using some kind of HD camera, maybe a GoPro?
Well, one day, he spotted a guy stealing a bike outside of a business and tracked the thief down using the power of his souped-up scooter in a surprisingly exciting chase.
I’ve started the video right as the chase is about to start. Grab a bucket of popcorn and your favorite soft drink for this one. It’s 5 minutes of quality real-life entertainment 😆
Gotta love how the thief’s argument is, “It’s not yours” to the vigilante trying to recover it, and that he slaps the camera like it’s going to stop him from showing up in crystal clear HD for previous 4 minutes of the chase.
The mayor of Eugene, OR needs to create a ‘Scooterman’ signal that she can illuminate the sky with every time a bike is stolen in her city. He’ll just need a second to grab his vape rig off the charger and then he’ll be ready to track down all the bike thieves in the city.
In all seriousness, kudos to ‘Scooterman’ for being a good Samaritan. It’s probably not advisable to hunt down a bike thief, because you never know what could happen, but he definitely did a good thing that day.
