Marc Hale has been diving for over 20 years, but had never seen anything like the creature in the video below.
The fish looks alien-like with it long trunk, odd fins, and weirdly-shaped tail. Hale was stumped, and turned to a Facebook group of San Diego-based divers to find out what exactly what he had seen.

Is anybody else deathly afraid of what lives in the depths of our oceans? I think I read somewhere that humans have explored a larger percentage of the moon’s surface than our own oceans… that’s a little frightening.
What lives down there? This weird-ass looking fish found only 65-feet below the surface near San Diego has my skin crawling alone. I don’t even want to know what kind of devilish sea beasts are lurking thousands of feet below.
