MtHood Jake (@mthoodtraveler) lost his ‘Mighty Little Camera’ during a blower powder day at Mt. Hood Meadows, OR back in February.
He spent 30 minutes searching for his precious action camera, but abandoned his search in an attempt to maximize his time in the stellar conditions.
Jake never stopped thinking about his camera, and was able to recover the device late last week. This is that story, and fair warning… it’s emotional.
“A video story of how I lost my action camera up at Mt Hood Meadows over the winter, then found it this summer. Actually I found it yesterday, 6 months after I lost it … and it still worked! An Insta360 One X (without a waterproof housing). An ode to The Stranger (Sam Elliott) in the Big Lebowski (“Just Dropped In” Kenny Rogers), and the feeling of being “Reunited” (Peaches & Herb).”
This has to be a dream piece of marketing for Insta360. Jake spent a lot of time to recover his camera and make the funny video above.
He’s clearly a huge fan of the product, and I hope Insta360 gives him a new device for his loyalty!
