It’s pretty well-known that the Dutch are big on cycling. It’s the most common form of personal transportation in The Netherlands, and the image of hundreds of cyclists riding the streets of Amsterdam is probably seared into all of your minds at this point.

But, have you ever noticed that very few Dutch cyclists wear helmets?

This video is a really good watch and inadvertently highlights problems we have here back home. American’s reliance on automobiles is astounding, and we could learn a thing or two from the Dutch.
