Big Powderhorn Mountain Resort in Bessemer, MI was treated to a spectacular showing of the Aurora (aka Northern Lights) over the weekend.  It’s not uncommon for the Aurora to be seen in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, but it’s certainly not a daily occurence.

I dream about night skiing under the Aurora. I’ve seen videos of people doing it in places like Iceland, Sweden, and Alaska, but I wonder how many people have been fortunate enough to do it in Michigan?
