Did you know that they’re are a handful of ski resorts in Africa? What’s even more interesting is that Africa is the only continent that has ski resorts in both the Northern and Southern hemispheres.
Meaning, that you can technically ski all year long if you’re willing to travel from one end of the continent to the other.
Afriski (Lesotho) is one of a couple ski resorts located in southern Africa. The resort doesn’t see a lot of snow throughout the winter, but it gets cold enough for snow guns to operate.
The resort shared photos over the last two days showing that significant storm has blanketed the ski resort and surrounding landscapes.
