Red Lodge, MT is currently dealing with severe flooding due to Rock Creek breaching the basin and flowing into town.

Red Lodge Fire Rescue is reporting that multiple bridges have been breached, and some have been completely wiped out.

They posted a video early this morning explaining the situation. Check it out below:

 

The Carbon County Sheriff’s Office notified Red Lodge residents around 8am eastern that the town’s water supply had been compromised due to the flooding.

All water in Red Lodge has been turned off into further notice.

 

The Carbon County Sheriff’s Office is reporting that multiple roads and bridges in the area have been closed until further notice.

Notably, Beartooth Highway, the scenic route that runs from Red Lodge to the northeastern gate of Yellowstone National Park, has been closed from the flooding.
