^Silver Mountain will run Chair 1 and Chair 2 on Memorial Day Weekend

Silver Mountain Resort (Idaho) initially planned to open their bike park on Memorial Day weekend, but it seems like mother nature had other plans.

The resort picked up a significant amount of late-season snow, and will open for a bonus weekend of skiing and riding over Memorial Day.

Here are the full details from Silver’s Facebook post:

“Memorial Day Reveal: We will be SKIING AND SNOWBOARDING on May 28-30! We’re operating Chair 1 and Chair 2 during Memorial Day weekend to give you one last chance to shred before summer. Season passes from Winter 21-22, Summer 22, and Winter 22-23 will get you on the gondola. Lift tickets are $49 for adults, $43 for youth, and can only be purchased at the window. Hours will be 8:00-2:30 Saturday-Monday, May 28-30. Due to the snow still covering most of the trails, opening day for Silver Mountain Bike Park has been postponed until June 4th, weather permitting.”

Looks like there’s still plenty of snow based on the webcam images on Silver’s website.

Next weekend should be some awesome spring skiing and riding up there, and I’m wishing all of you a good time that are fortunate enough to make it up there!
