I’m always a huge fan of finding sweet ski edits from smaller creators, and I always try to save them when I do. Now, Bruno Pisani isn’t a tiny creator. He’s got a round 23.7 thousand subscribers on YouTube, and his videos occasionally get above 100 thousand views. But he’s not Red Bull or Warren Miller. He’s an individual creator who managed to make this absolutely gorgeous short film, vlog, or whatever you want to call it.

The shots are beautiful, local individuals are highlighted, and local legends and stories are told. Most importantly, the “huge rock window” mentioned in the title? It’s pretty damn incredible, just like the rest of the scenery we see through the video.

I feel like ski films and edits either try way too hard to make every trip seem perfect, never showing the crashes, or they try too hard to make them look tragic, only showing the massive, devastating crashes. Pisani, instead, actually discusses what went wrong at the end of the video, explaining that the snow wasn’t perfect and that he did, in fact, have a few minor crashed. I respect the hell out of him for doing so.
