Have you ever wondered what it’s like to shred Crater Lake in the winter? Back in February of last year, Youtuber Mediocre Amateur traveled to Crater Lake National Park in Oregon to skin up some of their skiing routes. They decided to hit up the spot due to extreme avalanche risks across the Western U.S. at the time, as the spot provides a generally safer backcountry skiing experience depending on the circumstances. As they mention in the video, it’s a short pitch, but you can’t beat the view. The video is below.
