White Mountain National Forest sign along Kanc vandalized, officials believe

The Conway Daily Sun is reporting that the iconic White Mountain National Forest sign, along the Kancamagus Highway (Route 112,) was destroyed by a chainsaw. Bathrooms near the sign were also vandalized.

Authorities are investing.

Can somebody give me a good reason for defacing a National Forest sign? Because, I honestly can’t think of one.

Is there a population of people that are so pissed off that the government protects lands and forests across the country? I guess there could be.

There’s probably an underground internet conspiracy that some bored nerd started in his basement so that people would engage with him on the online.

I mean, that’s how we can explain about 50% of the crazy stuff happening in real-life these days, right? The internet. The goddamn internet!
