Arapahoe Basin is currently auctioning an original chair from the Pallavicini Lift for victims of the Marshall Fire.

An anonymous donor has given his Pali chair to A-Basin to raise money for the over 1,000 families that lost their homes in the Marshall Fire that raged near Boulder, CO last month.

This is an awesome opportunity to score a piece of skiing history while raising money for a great cause. Please consider bidding on the Pali chair if you’re so inclined. The auction will end on Saturday, January 15th.

You can bid on the chair here.

You can also donate directly to the Boulder County Wildfire Fund by clicking here.

Here are some more details:

After 42 years of service, the original Pallavicini Lift was retired in 2020 and all of the chairs sold or auctioned for charity. Thanks to a longtime A-Basin skier, there is a new opportunity for you to own a piece of A-Basin history while doing good. An anonymous donor has generously put forth his personal Pali Chair to be auctioned in support of those affected by the Marshall Fire, which destroyed more than 1,000 homes near Boulder, CO, in late December. The auction is now live and the winning bidder will be directed to donate directly to the Community Foundation Boulder County Wildfire Fund. Thank you for helping this community get back on its feet. The auction will end on January 15 at 5:00 PM mountain time.*Buyer must be able to pick up chair in-person or handle all shipping charges.
