Terrifying moment caught on camera as snowmobilers in Wyoming triggered an avalanche and got buried in snow. The Charlotte Observer reports John Sievers was swept away in the avalanche south of Jackson. Thankfully his friend had an eye on him and quickly dug him out. Sievers said he yanked his avalanche bag, but it didn’t deploy.
“My avalanche bag didn’t work I pulled the handle like my life depended on it and it didn’t deploy.”
