Really cool glacial feature available to for guests at Les Diablerets to explore after a 15 minutes from the chairlift at Glacier 3000. The bluish cave in the Swiss Alps known as The Mill varies in shape by year but its rounded ceiling made of thick ice about about 16 feet high by 65 feet long.

The space forms through a siphon effect. Each spring and summer, the cavity fills with water from snowmelt, forming a lake. In autumn, the plug disappears and the water drains, leaving the cave.
