A perfectly timed take off, precession flight and extremely accurate landing allowed 43-year-old Arnaud Longobardi to fly into a moving cable car in Chamonix France back in 2015. For an added level of danger, the cable car was only 150 meters off the ground for the landing, so if his wing was to collapse he would have needed to deploy his reserve parachute which takes a minimum of 80 meters to open….if you do the math this would leave him only 70 meters or a matter of seconds make emergency maneuvers.
