Vail Resorts/Epic Pass just dropped some surprise news over on their Facebook page. Vail Resorts has apparently purchased Seven Springs Mountain Resort, Hidden Valley Resort, and Laurel Mountain Ski Area. All three mountains are located near Pittsburgh, PA.
Vail Resorts continues to extend their reach across all areas of the United States with the addition. Adding these three resorts essentially corners the market for most of the skiers and snowboarders that call the Pittsburgh-metro area home. Seven Springs is probably the most notable addition. The resort is well-known for it’s impressive snowmaking and terrain parks. It’s also where the legendary Tom Wallisch grew up skiing.
