How in the hell is downhill longboarding a viable sport? It looks fun as hell, but I just don’t understand how one gets passed the barrier of entry to get to a level where you can comfortably bomb alpine roads?

I spent quite a bit of time pushing my longboard around the flat beach towns of Delaware back in the day, but I can’t imagine the balls you have to possess to fly down a mountain road with hairpin turns.

The risk vs reward ratio is truly through the roof when it comes to downhill longboarding, and this video proved it. I’ve embedded the video to start shortly before this guy wipes out, but I encourage you to watch the whole thing if you wanna see some awesome riding.

Josh Neuman: “Longboarding in the Alps for one of my favorite raw runs I’ve ever filmed! Feel free to like and subscribe if you enjoyed the video 🙂
