Park City was forced to delay their anticipated opening day thanks to warmer-than-average temps over the last couple of weeks. The mega-resort initially planned to open on Friday, November 19th, but will instead open this Sunday, November 28th.
The resort plans to kick off the season at The Canyons Village on Kokopelli (Blue) and Mellow Moose (Green) trails. Skiers will have to download on the Red Pine Gondola to end the day. This is a pretty atypical opening for PCMR, but I’m guessing the resort is being forced to start with higher-altitude terrain to get the ball rolling this season.
