Have you wondered what happens when somebody on a slackline loses their footing? The thought has actually crossed my mind from time to time, and I know they’re secured by some kind of harness system, but I’ve never actually seen a good video of it happening.

The video below shows a slackliner losing his footing on Mexico’s longest slackline. The line stretches for an entire kilometer to the mountain in the background. Looks absolutely beautiful, and absolutely terrifying, even with a harness and rope.

I don’t get the whole crunchy slacklining vibe, but I still respect the hell out of it. These guys and gals are some badass adrenaline junkies.
