It is pretty cool to see former mainstream athletes fall in love with outdoor recreation. It turns out hall of fame NBA player Reggie Miller is way into mountain biking. He got hooked on the sport when the drummer of Rage Against The Machine invited him on a ride in 2002. When he retired from the NBA in 2005, Miller went all-in on mountain biking.

Miller is 6’7″ and rides an XXL Santa Cruz. By the looks of it, his latest bike has ENVE carbon wheels and Fox factory suspension. As best we can tell, he hasn’t gone with electronic shifting yet.

Miller races in cross country events and is looking pretty comfortable in lycra. He likes long-distance endeavors and even has a mountain bike trainer to achieve his goals. His Instagram account is chock-full of MTB-related posts.
