Alex Hall is undoubtedly one of the best freestyle skiers in the world. He’s been crushing it on the comp scene for the last few years, and has dropped numerous edits that have continuously wowed fans.

Hall has his on YouTube channel and recently posted an awesome edit of his Dad and his “Homies” skiing back in 1975. It’s everything I would hope and dream a homemade film featuring a bunch of ski bums from the mid-70s would include.

There are endless daffys, impressive front flips, long and straight skis, all-around drunken shenanigans, and unbelievable powder skiing. It feels like this footage needs to be preserved in a museum or something.

I know there are plenty of professional films out there of skiing from the 1970s, but there can’t be too many homemade reels of skiing at this level from that era just laying around.

This was so incredibly rad, and it seems like Hall’s dad must have been the perfect role model to launch his pro skiing career.

I’m maybe just a little bit jealous (sorry Dad).
