Cheers to the Colorado Parks and Wildlife officers who freed a bull elk after it got its antlers stuck in a child’s swing at Evergreen Golf Course.  Officers tracked down the young bull on Monday in Indian Hills thanks to some tips from residents. The swing was most likely impeding the elk’s ability to eat and drink so the officers tranquilized it and cut off the antlers to remove the swing, but they will grow back. The bull was a little groggy after being tranquilized before running off into the woods.
