Black Crows To Explore Legendary, Abandoned 'Fortress Mountain' In New Movie

By

Black Crows dropped an awesome movie last season exploring the abandoned ‘Ski Rio’ resort in New Mexico as part of their ‘ghost ski resorts’ series. The ski manufacturer announced yesterday that this season’s episode will focus on Fortress Mountain Resort in Alberta, Canada.

The ski resort is currently closed for traditional lift-serviced skiing, and has been since 2004. Cat-skiing started in 2011, but most of the resort still lies in disrepair. A company has started to invest money back into the resort, but will it ever return to its glory?

Fun Fact: Fortress Mountain Resort has been used in numerous movies throughout the last 20 years. Notables include: Inception, The Bourne Legacy, and Brokeback Mountain.

Black Crows teased their new film on Fortress Mountain with the trailer below. The full film will be released on January 11, 2022. Can’t wait!
