Which animal is king in Yellowstone National Park?

Most people will probably say grizzlies, but I honestly think wolves have a decent claim to the throne when they’re traveling in a pack.

This visitor to Yellowstone Park was traveling on a snow-covered road on his way to Mammoth Hot Springs last year when he encountered a large bison herd moving quickly in his direction. He wasn’t exactly sure why they were in such a hurry, but then saw a wolf pack in hot pursuit.

Thank god he was in his car. I don’t know what would be worse? Getting trampled by a bison herd or being torn to shreds by a hungry wolf pack… Thankfully he didn’t have to find out.
