Spider Mountain, located just 60 miles from Austin, TX is the only year-round lift-serviced bike park in the US.
Spider Mountain uses a Green, Blue, Black trail rating system like ski areas, and used one chairlift to ferry riders to the top.

It’s really exciting to see the sport of downhill mountain biking explode. I feel like I’m reading about more places to hit the dirt every week.
Unfortunately, I’ve never been mountain biking… Anybody want to show me the ropes? Maybe it could satisfy my downhill desires during the warmer months?
