You know what’s great about being a blogger and not an official journalist? I can have my own biased opinions and not get in trouble for it! Which is exactly why I talk about Shaggy’s Copper Country Skis whenever I can.
Shaggy’s first came on my radar a few years ago when I moved to the Midwest. I just simply couldn’t believe that a company was making powder-focused skis in Michigan, of all places.
I finally got my hands on a pair two seasons ago, and they’re now my daily driver no matter what hill I’m at. You can be read my review of the 2019 Shaggy’s Ahmeek 105s here.
Shaggy’s makes legitimate big mountain skis that can handle all conditions. They certainly proved that by taking their skis out to Big Sky last season and filming in some great conditions.
I enjoy shining a light on the ‘little guys’ and I really think you should consider checking out Shaggy’s if you’re in the market for a new pair of skis. They’re great quality, have excellent customer service, are fairly priced, and they have an awesome custom topsheet service that allows you to put whatever you want on your skis.
Just to be clear. This isn’t sponsored content. I bought a pair of Shaggy’s two seasons ago and I really do enjoy using them. I’m just giving them a shout-out because I’m in a good mood this chilly Thursday afternoon. Gotta help out your friends when you can, right?
