Looking to give back to our planet this weekend? Alta Ski Area in Utah may have just the opportunity for you. This Saturday, the Alta Environmental Center will help volunteers plant one thousand seedlings, which will eventually become trees on the mountain.
The event will go from 8am-12 pm, and participants will meet at the Alta Town Park. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like there’s any compensation for the assistance to Alta’s habitat. On the bright side, you can spend a peaceful day up in Little Cottonwood Canyon, and get some bragging rights about how you saved the planet this Saturday. You can register for the event here.
