Surfing’s first female Olympic Gold Medalist Carissa Moore shared with Kevin Hart and Snoop Dogg that she keeps her gold medal in her underwear drawer, and they were as shocked as me to hear that news.

You’d think she would buy at least a nice box or case to put it on display, right? I mean damn Carissa, you’re only the first female Olympic Gold Medalist in surfing’s history. Be proud of it and share that gold medal off!

I’d wear that medal every single day for probably five years if I ever won one, and I’d store it in a fire proof safe with multiple forms of identification needed to access it under my bed when I wasn’t wearing it.

There’s nothing more badass than being an Olympic gold medalist (in any sport), and there’s nothing you can do to change my mind on that.
