Summer laps at Timberline Lodge on Mt. Hood aren’t reserved only for park rats and ski racers looking to train in the offseason. The Palmer Snowfield is an excellent place to get a few turns in while you’re waiting for colder temps.
u/Ski-climb-surf-send shared a video of him taking a lap down the Palmer Snowfield in the glorious summer weather. The skiing won’t blow your mind, but I thought it was nice to know that there’s people getting after it while the rest of the country burns under an excruciating heat wave.
I’m totally not jealous at all, and I totally didn’t just look at flights to Oregon this weekend, and I totally didn’t almost buy those tickets either. You have to believe me because I used the word totally. That totally means I’m not lying.
