“Untether from the limits of gas fuel with the Wood Burning Stove, a lightweight, easy-to-use cooking system designed to kindle minimalist excursions into the backcountry.”
Check out Patagonia’s new wood burning backpacking stove ($99). Might seem a bit overpriced but the intention seems good and if you are truly dependent on a stove like this in the backcountry, an expensive but well-built unit is money well spent. Alternatively if you’re a yuppy and want to flex at your next backyard gathering, order a half dozen as S’more cooking stations and prepare for BBQ coup de grâce.
