Excellent short film by Davis Yates about an overnight bikepacking journey on Colorado’s tallest 14er, Mount Elbert. Back in October 2020, collegiate downhill racer Darric Roark hiked up, camped on, and descended Mount Elbert for an incredible high altitude mountain biking adventure. This wild alpine ride came with both pain and thrills, from ascending the Black Cloud trail, to camping in 15 degrees at 14,000 feet, to ripping down the mountain in an exhilarating sunrise descent. Really well made, hope this inspires you to plan your own backcountry bikepacking adventure. Bravo.
