Sandanie Ambalangodage captured an absolutely terrifying rockfall at Zion National Park back in 2019. It’s estimated that the rocks fell more than 3,000′ to the canyon floor below and some of the debris englufed a park bus and hikers on a nearby trail.

Miraculously only three guests were injured and no deaths were reported.

This looks like a scene out of an apocalyptic movie. Imagine how scary it would be to witness this in person. Those canyon walls at Zion are majestic, but I wouldn’t want to see massive rocks falling above my head…no sir!
