There’s been a ton of bear/human interaction in the early summer 2021 news cycle and Yellowstone National Park thought it wise to be proactive and did a live broadcast with their lead bear biologist, Kerry Gunther, to talk about bear safety in the park. Pro Tip: Practice shooting your bear spray before entering the backcountry (including shooting from the hip) and if you’re in an area with lots of bear sign, go ahead and un-velcro your bear spray holster.
