I’m Jonathan Capozzi, the guy behind Old Growth Ski Company. Born and raised in Western New York, I have always enjoyed creating things. From building ramps and dirt jumps as a teenager, to building canoes, furniture, and skis as an adult, ski building has been an exciting and engaging process to learn and improve and continue my lifelong passion for creating the items I love to enjoy. Old Growth comes from a desire to be completely engaged in every step of the process. I love to create, I love to be outside, and I love to go skiing.
Pricing on skis run from $899 for a standard shape to $1199 for a fully custom shape. If you are interested in having a ski made, the process starts with a $400 deposit. This secures your position in the production schedule. (Current delivery dates are in November 2021). From there we discuss what kind of skier you are, where you intend to use the ski, the available shapes and custom options, layups, and veneer options. Once we have all of the options finalized, I will begin production and get to work. Skis will be delivered waxed, tuned, and ready for mounting.
