“With warming temps and diminishing snowpack, tomorrow will be the last day of operations for KT and Headwall this season. We’re stoked these favorite lifts have made it this far into the spring season, so come get in your final Mothership laps tomorrow!”

Always a bittersweet day at Squallywood when KT22 stops spinning for the season. Folks lather up in SPF and pay their last respects by heckling those below on the last ride up, overly exuberant pole whacking non-existent cornices at the top before dropping in to spray corn snow at each other all the way down. Traditionally the day is capped by hydrating with American pilsners on the valley floor while chatting about summer plans and how soon it will start snowing again until the sun drops behind the ridge line and everyone bids adieus. Till next time KT22…stay golden.
