A slow moving but powerful avalanche flowed past the village of Tsakhur in Dagestan today. Miraculously no houses were damaged and no injuries were reported among  local residents.  3 cars were buried and nine settlements were left without transport links by the avalanche as it left nearly 1000 feet of road was covered with snow.  There’s equipment on site to start digging out but they can’t start working “since avalanche masses are still moving.” Sketchy job clearing that road, best wishes to anyone attempting:
