Boston news agencies are reporting that an 18-year-old skier was airlifted to a local hospital after crashing into a building at the base of Nashoba Valley Ski Area in Massachusetts.

^The incident occurred at the base of ‘Nashoba Slope’ as seen marked above.

Witnesses state that the skier lost control and became stuck under a shed-like structure after striking it at speed. He was given first aid by bystanders, and airlifted to a Boston area hospital.

His identity has not been made public at this time.

The extent of the skiers injuries are unknow, but we are wishing him the best and hoping for a speedy recovery.

Nashoba Valley Ski Area expressed similar sentiments to their Facebook page.
