“Everyone loses. Everyone comes up short. Winners are talented but most winners are just losers that never gave up.” –Lolo Jones ⁣

You might remember Lolo Jones from her track and field career where she ran hurdles for the USA Olympic team at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. After a disappointing 2008 Olympic campaign where she failed to medal, she traded in her running shoes for a crash helmet and took up bobsledding. In October 2012, Jones joined the US National team as a brakewoman where she’s been competing ever since. Fast forward to this past weekend where Lolo finally won a world title in the sport alongside her seasoned teammate Kallie Humphries who has a record breaking four world titles under her belt. Congratulations to Lolo and Kallie for doing the Stars and Stripes proud. Well done!
