Things got a bit out of hand at the finish line of a 4×7.5km relay in Lahti, Finland. After a collision on the home stretch, the defending World Cup overall champion, Aleksander Bolshunov, whipped Joni Mäki with his pole and full on tackled him in a fit of violence uncommon in the world of nordic skiing. Bolshunov was swiftly disqualified following the incident for unsportsmanlike conduct.
