Ryan Cochran-Siegle, from Vermont, became the first American male to win a World Cup Super-G event since Bode Miller back in 2006.

The downhiller crushed the competition in Bormio, winning by .79 seconds!

Congrats to Ryan, but the victory must be bitter-sweet considering the pandemic is preventing the usual fan-fare that accompanies a World Cup victory.

Hopefully he can enjoy a glass (or 10) of champagne with his teammates to celebrate the monumental victory.
