Number one cost associated with being a full on ski bum…accommodations.  People will sleep in broom closets, bathtubs and under tables to keep expenses to a minimum but could you tough out a winter living in a tent rent free in Colorado? Obviously that tent and the gear ain’t for free so living like this has some serious upfront costs but after that if you can find a bit of land to pitch up on the cheap and have the constitution to live like this = more time skiing and less time needed making money.
