From Sunday River Mountain Report

Let it Snow

The flakes just started flying this morning and they are falling fast. Snow totals will climb during the day as the snow keeps piling up, and once the storm is complete, we could see over a foot of snow. Leave work early today and head to the mountain for some bottomless refills. This new snow will be an awesome refresh on the slopes, lining us up for a perfect weekend ahead.

Lifts will start spinning at 9AM. As the snow rolled in so has some wind, which may delay a few lifts this morning. Please check back in below for lift status updates or use the Sunday River App as the wind is forecasted to mellow out as the day goes on. Groomers took to the slopes last night to smooth things out before the flakes started falling. The flakes are fat and heavy, so get ready to work your legs and enjoy the new snow.

Lift tickets are available for purchase at any base lodge or hotel, but you’ll save if you buy online or have a Threedom Pass. With new snow on the way, it’s a perfect time for a mid-week getaway, so take advantage of our special lodging deals starting at just $89 a night.

Get your vote on for Best of Bethel. Rally behind your favorite local spot, spread the word, and let’s celebrate businesses in the Bethel region together. Polls close Sunday, March 8.

Lastly, we’re excited to announce Sunday River 2030, our ten-year vision for the resort. Sunday River 2030 outlines the pillars that will guide our direction over the next decade as well as the projects we have planned, which include upgrading six lifts, adding new amenities, launching new real estate projects, and more.

See you in the snow!
