Alta Ski Resort in Utah was closed for the second day in a row and judging by the video below it was a wise decision. Thanks to The Daily Pow for sharing this video of an avalanche nearly slamming into The Peruvian Lodge at Alta and then engulfing what are hopefully empty parked cars on the road. Stay safe out there if you’re in Little Cottonwood Canyon. It’s acutely dangerous to be outside right now:
